merge to produce an extraordinary musical experience
New York, September 11, 2015. Piano virtuoso Cesar Orozco takes the stage with Guataca Nights to present his latest CD, highlighting the groundbreaking sound of his Caribbean tumbao at Subrosa (from the proprietors of the Blue Note), on Tuesday, September 29 at 8pm. In his new CD, No Limits for Tumbao, César Orozco steps outside the boundaries of the traditional tumbao rhythm and creates an unparalleled and authentic melody where pionero, World Music and interwined, adding to the intricate and complex layers of the New Sounds of Venezuelan Music.
Coming five year after his hit CD, Orozcojam (Guataca) the much-anticipated No Limits for Tumbao was launched by Alfi Records.
